Learn the ABC of bike maintenance and more to ensure you have a safe, efficient and fun ride, while keeping your bike in good sustainable condition. City of Newcastle is hosting a bike maintenance course run by an experienced bike mechanic. The course will run over two sessions at Adamstown Community Hall.This course is designed for those with or without prior knowledge of bike maintenance. The course will help build up your skills and confidence in knowing how to look after your bike, check and adjust your bike, and fix a puncture on the road. The peace of mind and independence that bike maintenance know-how gives you will make your whole ride that bit smoother.
Participants must be over 12 years old or accompanied by an adult. Please bring a working legal bicycle. There will be afternoon tea provided.
Note only the first session is shown on this ticket. The second session will be on 14th June at 2pm.
