Recycling Education Session

About
This recycling education session is kindly provided by Monash City Council for those who are living in Monash and interested in sustainability or learning how to improve the environment as individuals!The session will include but not limited to following topics:
-What goes in which bin and how to recycle right
-Tricky-to-recycle items and where they can go
-What happens to your waste and recycling once collected
-Tips, tricks, and programs we offer to help you live more sustainably and support a circular economy
The World Environment Day 2025 theme is Ending Plastic Pollution. This theme aims to highlight the growing issue of plastic pollution, which extends beyond visible waste to include microplastics in our food, water, and even our bodies. Recycling is a good way to reduce plastic waste pollution. Therefore, we are gonna Clean up Namatjira Park after the session. Everyone welcome to join us! Gloves and rubbish bags are provided by AAV.
