A nail-biting thriller, the play probes the psychology of jealousy in the shadow of a savage and brutal murder.Agatha Christie’s stage adaptation of her novel Towards Zero premiered in 1945 and then was shelved shortly after and rewritten in 1956 by Gerald Verner losing many of her original characters. This is the original version which was uncovered in 2015.
The premise of the play and the story is that with many murder mysteries the murder is the start of the story, but in fact it is the end, the Zero Hour in fact, and it is everything else that leads to the murder that is the important factor.
