Guitar Workshop with Crossing Strings (AT) in Warrnambool
About
3-hour guitar workshop for beginners as well as advanced players with Austrian fingerstyle guitarist and composer Markus Schlesinger and classical guitarist and instrumental pedagogue Carina Maria Linder. The course is designed for guitarists who have never encountered fingerstyle and classical guitar, as well as for those who already have experience in these areas. In this workshop, sequentially and progressively, topics will include simple folk accompaniment, arrangements of well-known jazz and pop songs, pieces and techniques in classical as well as Spanish/South American styles, up to groovy compositions in open tunings and percussive techniques. The guitar workshop is open for all ages & skill levels - please bring your own guitar, tuner, music stand & joy of playing! Depending on individual needs, instruction can be provided either in standard notation or tablature.
