Simulation Train the Trainer-Application Intensive
About
This advanced workshop is designed for participants who have completed the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) 2-day Simulation Train the Trainer program. Participants will refine their skills with hands-on experience, mentorship from expert simulation educators, and peer feedback.The day will focus on:
• Simulation scenario design
• Technical facilitation and moulage
• Effective pre-briefing, debriefing, and co-debriefing
• Psychological safety and team reflexivity
Participants will engage in 3 scenarios in mixed teams (medical, nursing, allied health), developing team reflexivity to improve patient safety and communication in real-world clinical settings. Coaching from the RCH simulation team will guide each participant's development.
