About
Refugee Week is an annual event to raise awareness about the refugee experience — the challenges people face when seeking safety, their strength and resilience, and the powerful contributions they make.At cohealth, our Refugee Week celebrations shine a light on the talents, strengths, and cultural richness of our co-workers and communities with lived refugee experience. It’s also a time to acknowledge the ongoing journey of seeking freedom, safety, and belonging.
This year’s event, hosted by the Refugee Health team and the Victorian Bicultural Workers Network, will feature an exciting line-up of performances by community members — including traditional dance, music, singing, spoken word, and more.
We’ll also be hosting a live vox pop on the night, inviting guests to reflect on the theme Finding Freedom.
A delicious dinner will be provided, including sweet treats from around the world, so come hungry!
