FOUNDATION DRAWING TECHNIQUES (ADULT BEGINNERS)

This workshop runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week on SATURDAY MORNING: 9:30 – 11:30AMSTARTS 5 July ENDS: 26 July 2025
This workshop is best suited to beginners, or for those are getting back into drawing. It is designed for anyone who is looking to learn the fundamentals of general drawing techniques.
Each week on saturdays we will cover a different topic:
• WEEK1: Basic drawing techniques and materials
• WEEK2: Still life drawing with different materials
• WEEK3: Perspective drawing: landscape
• WEEK4: Exploring negative space charcoal
There will be demonstrations and one-on-one guidance throughout the classes.
What you will learn
By mastering basic techniques, artists can create more accurate and realistic drawings, as well as explore their creativity and develop their own style.
What to bring:
All drawing materials will be supplied.
You may bring your own sketchbook and drawing tools, if you prefer
