The Circle of Security is an 8-week course designed to help parents and caregivers strengthen their relationships with children and others in their lives while enhancing their understanding of child development. The course consists of 8 sessions, each lasting approximately 90 minutes. However, we offer flexibility in delivery, allowing participants to complete the course in just 4 weeks by attending 2 sessions per day.

The program is video-based, with each session building upon the previous one. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on their experiences in a supportive and safe group environment. Support people are welcome to attend if it will assist participants in achieving their goals. This inclusive approach helps ensure that everyone involved has the necessary support to succeed and benefit from the program.

Communities and Kids regularly run the course, offering two variations: Circle of Security Parenting and Circle of Security Classroom. The latter is specifically directed at those who work with children in childcare or school settings. Both programs are suitable for anyone involved with children of any age, providing valuable insights and practical strategies to strengthen bonds and improve relationships.
