About
Strategies for Managing Abuse Related Trauma (SMART) is a staff training program. We call it SMART for short. It is provided by the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF).The training is suitable for all staff. It shows you how to:
Develop an understanding of how trauma impacts the developing brain and body.
Apply a framework for understanding and responding to the impacts of trauma on children and young people.
Build on practice skills to apply strategies that promote safe and supportive environments to improve student outcomes.
