About
As our end of Financial year Campaign we are going to fundraise specifically for our Annual Baroque Academy. This will be our 5th Academy which we hold in conjunction with the Elder Conservatorium of Music, and it is still the only one of its kind on Australia. This collaboration provides a really unique opportunity for young musicians to be introduced to the techniques and sounds of historical playing and perform with greater understanding and awareness.Adelaide Baroque are committed to providing a pathway for young and emerging Australian musicians to learn the specialist skills of Historical Performance. The Academy will feature concert, masterclasses, lectures, demonstration and baroque dance classes
Adelaide Baroque’s core musicians along with some of the most celebrated Australian baroque performers and teachers will present a significant four-day intensive and immersive experience, open to secondary and tertiary students and young professionals.
