The National Co-ordinator of Australia Cuba Friendship Society, Adam Mayers about the upcoming brigade to Cuba. Adam Mayers has been the National Coordinator of the Southern Cross Brigade to Cuba since 2021. A unionist and activist, Adam has been in the Cuba solidarity movement since university and researched Cuba's approaches to gender, legal equality and development. Adam is currently based in Naarm.
Michael Hanna, Australia Cuba Friendship Society member, of Lebanese descent, former lawyer, public servant, Greens member will present a talk about Cuba and the anti-capitalist government's support for Palestine.
