Always wanted to sew but don’t know where to start? Our Weekend Beginner’s Learn to Sew Workshop is the perfect way to build confidence & learn foundational techniques in a fun, hands-on setting!Over two engaging days, you’ll learn how to:
- Use & troubleshoot a sewing machine
- Understand fabric grain, layout and cutting
- Sew basic stitches, seam applications & hems
- Begin constructing a simple garment
With step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor, you’ll also learn how to follow a simple pattern & apply these sewing methods to one of the basic projects pictured below (you'll need your own fabric for this, further info is emailed out to you upon booking) & learn to apply everything you've learned to your future ones. Whether you're an absolute beginner or just need a refresher, this workshop will give you the skills & confidence to start sewing independently.
No experience is needed- just bring your machine (or hire one of ours) & your enthusiasm!
