IMPORTANT NOTE: A competitor cannot trial for the WASDT if they were in the 2024 State Team, a representative at Nationals in 2024, or have been in a State Team for the current age group.
IMPORTANT TRIAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
ALL known absences (including holidays/school commitments etc) MUST be disclosed in your trial registration.
Non-disclosure may result in the absence not being approved by the State Development Team Manager.
Age as of 31st December 2025

Intermediates - 14 - 17 years
All trial attendees are required to bring to the trial their birth certificate and signed acceptance of the State Development Team Policy (available on the CAWA Website or click here)
Acceptance of a position with the WA State Development Team, whether as a competitor, coach, or member of personnel, means acceptance of the State Development Team Agreement, Codes of Conduct, and Policies.
The member must pay a $500 deposit within two weeks of selection. The balance owed must be paid in regular periodic payments.
