The Food Handler certification shows employers you're ready to work safely, responsibly, and professionally in cafés, restaurants, and bars. With these skills, you’ll stand out and increase your chances of securing casual roles in the hospitality industry.Food Handler Certification is now a legal requirement for work in any food based industry and is a valuable skillset for young people. Our Safe Food Handling course is run exclusively for students in Years 9 - 12 and supervised on school premises.
Participants obtain the following Certification: National Statement of Attainment - ITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
Lunch is provided
Students should bring:
o Water bottle - to stay hydrated throughout the day
o Laptop or Tablet, notepad, pen
