Improvised Sondheim - Student Celebration
The night will kick off with a fun-filled jam where any Impro Melbourne student can throw their name in the hat to play in scenes set up by a Impro Melbourne teacher.
Then after the interval sit back and relax and watch as our Improvised Sondheim Students craft an improvised musical full of Sondheimian ambivalence, yearning, and character flaw.
With his sublime wordplay and melody as their guide, they'll play with irony, counterpoint & pacing and explore how to feel treacherous and villainous, lost and alone, and so in love you think your heart will implode.
