In this full-day workshop you will complete two training courses:1. A Food Handler Certification is a legal requirement for working in any food based industry. This Nationally accredited program is a valuable skillset for young people seeking flexible employment whilst studying their chosen vocation.
Accreditation: SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety - National Statement of Attainment
2. In the Barista Training Course you will learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee and develop transferable life skills in a hands-on environment using commercial equipment in an onsite coffee van.
Students receive: Non-Accredited Barista Training for Schools - Certificate of Participation and Completion
Lunch is provided.
Students should bring:
o Water bottle - to stay hydrated throughout the day
o Laptop or Tablet, notepad, pen
