Gentari and PCL Constructions in conjunction with ICN will be holding an Industry Briefing for the Maryvale Solar Project at the Wellington Soldiers Club, Monday, 2nd of June, commencing at 5 pm.The Maryvale Solar & Energy Storage Project is a renewable energy facility located near the town of Maryvale, 12 km North-West of Wellington. The Project combines the benefits of solar power and energy storage to create cheap, clean, dispatchable and firmed power for New South Wales.
The Project will have the ability to export 172MW of green power into the electricity network, thanks to an installed capacity of approximately 240MWp of photovoltaics ‘DC-coupled’ with 409MWh of energy storage.Major construction works will commence in mid- to late-2025 and will bring both direct and indirect benefits, including up to 360 jobs during the peak of the two-year construction period.
