Doctors and nurses are invited to participate in an advanced
Peadiatric focused study day facilitated by PIPER.
The day will go through case studies, skills and a team training simulation session to close the day.
Skills stations and simulation including:
• Recognising deteriorating children
• Caring for an intubated patient and troubleshooting
• Respiratory support CPAP/BiPAP
• Medication and fluids required in resuscitation
• Team training simulation scenarios
• Case studies (Case studies will focus on anaphylaxis, burns and interpreting blood gasses)
Bookings are essential due to pre reading modules and limited Numbers.
