Tabor College’s Marketing and Communications Workshop

Tabor College invites marketers, communicators, content creators, and aspiring professionals to a full-day workshop designed to sharpen your skills and inspire your approach to modern storytelling and strategic communication.

The day will be led by Pete Court, author, academic, seasoned storyteller, and one of the key voices shaping Tabor’s communications program. Pete brings years of experience in media, marketing, and teaching, with a passion for helping others communicate meaningfully and with purpose.

Special guests include Sally Paech, Executive Director at Beerenberg and experienced brand strategist, and Kieran Johnson, State Manager for Opportunity International and well-known presenter The Generosity Guy. You’ll also hear from Strauss Viljoen, Tabor’s Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Student Engagement Officer, who will guide participants through how to navigate today’s digital landscape with creativity, authenticity, and confidence.

The workshop will include a hands-on lunchtime activity using an agency-style briefing template to help you reflect on your own organisation’s communication needs and challenges. The final session opens space for discussion, ideas, and problem-solving with peers and presenters.

Whether you’re working in business, not-for-profit, ministry, education or the creative sector, this workshop is an opportunity to build clarity, confidence, and connection in your communication.
