Writing gives each of us a voice. For EAL/D students, writing can allow them to share stories, thoughts and knowledge, which can be hard for them to express - not just because of language barriers, but because of social and cultural barriers that imply that silence may be safer. In this workshop, Misty will share practical strategies for EAL/D writing instruction that is both highly scaffolded, but also liberating for our learners.Date
