Kids in Conservation: Hollows are Homes

Many Australian native animals live in hollows. At the Botanic Gardens some old veteran trees support a myriad of wildlife. A number of nesting boxes have been installed to increase the wildlife at the Gardens. Look up to find the hollows and take home a booklet about Hollows are Homes. Create a clay model of one of the animals. Wear closed in shoes, a shady hat and bring a water bottle. Suitable for 5 - 12 years. Meet at the Rotary Education Pavilion. See map of Botanic Gardens with Education Pavilion shaded yellow.
