TOWARDS BETTER SLEEP - A GROUP PROGRAMME FOR INSOMNIA

TBS is a cognitive behavioural treatment programme that has been effectively treating insomnia for almost two decades. The programme uses evidence based techniques meaning they have been scientifically proven to be effective in treating insomnia. The programme focuses on education, behavioural techniques, correcting faulty thinking and relaxation strategies.The group is held in 4 x 1 hour sessions at Psychology Consultant’s Morningside practice. A group setting held in the evening offers many benefits including reducing the cost of treatment and giving clients the opportunity to share and learn from each others insomnia experiences.
