(CPD Guide: 5.75 E, PM, PS, SL) In response to feedback from Society members and both the Supreme and Magistrates Courts in Tasmania, the annual Criminal Law Conference will now be held mid-year. There are streamed sessions at this year's event, so you'll get 5.75 points plus an optional bonus of two discounted session recordings for the two that you can't attend.

This Winter Criminal Law Conference is on Friday 18 July 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, and provides you with the opportunity to attend your local criminal law CPD-intensive early in this CPD year. Please note that this replaces the March 2026 Criminal Law Conference. The next criminal law conference will be held in mid-2026.

CPD Points: Any CPD points listed are provided as a guide and registrants should satisfy themselves about the nature and quantity of CPD points they can claim for the activity. Please refer to Practice Guideline no.4 HERE for details.

Refund/Cancellation: By registering for this event you (as a member or non-member) agree to the terms and conditions under the Society's Refund/Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions of Registration.

Streamed Sessions: Once bookings close, delegates will be able to pre-select one of the two streamed sessions (4a or 4b and 5a or 5b). After Frday 11 July, please look out for correspondence to this effect. Delegates can take advantage of discounted recordings at $100 for two (or $50 each) for the two streamed sessions that they can't get to. These recordings can be pre-purchased at checkout or after the event. This discount offer is available to delegates for a limited time of up to 30 days after the event.

Non-Member Registrations: Conditions apply at the discretion of the Society. The Society will be in touch if you are not eligible to register and a refund will be issued.
