Casual employment helps young people to develop vital skills to help them thrive in the workplace. This high-energy, hands-on workshop gets you ready for the world of work by helping you discover what makes you unique—and how to talk about it. You will learn how to showcase your skills, craft a killer personal pitch, build a standout resume, and walk away with the confidence to grab every opportunity that comes your way.Fun, practical, and packed with real-world value, Arrive & Thrive sets you up to succeed in casual work and beyond. The workshop comprise the following key activities:
- Career Design & Skill Identification
- Developing a Pitch
- Applying for Work / Personal Brand
- CVs and Cover Letters
- Interview skills
Students should bring: Pen, Notebook, Laptop or iPad.
Lunch and snacks are included
