This course has been designed to enhance the professional development of nurses working in acute clinical settings who may be faced with patients who show signs of clinical deterioration.Includes:
- observations, documentation & communication
- assessing & managing the unconscious patient
- assessment & management of respiratory failure
- appropriate use of O2 therapy - evidence & devices
- cardio - vascular assessment - BP disorders & HR changes
- sepsis - definition & pathophysiology of SIRS, sepsis & septic shock
- sepsis - assessment, case studies & management
