Advanced Clinical Assessment & Management of the Critically Unwell PatientThis course has been designed to further enhance the professional development of nurses working in acute clinical settings who may be faced with patients who show signs of significant clinical deterioration or require high acuity monitoring.
For those who have attended the 1 day Recognising and Responding to Clinical Deterioration Course (it’s preferrable but not essential that you have done this first), this course builds on the respiratory knowledge by incorporating ABG, CXR interpretation and NIV. It also expands on Cardiovascular knowledge by incorporating fluid resuscitation, blood products, simplifying cardiac medications & inotropes and management of Acute Coronary Syndromes.
The cost of this course has been subsidised by CNME funds.
