RANDOM WEAVE BASKET MAKING with Nicole de Mestre

About
This is an ART-FULL WOMEN event proudly supported by the Central Coast Council Community Grant.NB: you need to be a member of ART-FULL WOMEN to participate in this workshop. If you are not already a member, please go to: https://artfullwomen.com.au/membership
Nicole de Mestre creates an eclectic range of artistic works, all inspired by environmental concerns and linked through the use of recycled materials and found objects. Join her for a four hour workshop to build connections whilst discovering the art of random weave basketmaking. Usually constructed solely from natural materials, instead you will create a basket which also incorporates recycled and food materials - wire, rope, fabric, fly screen, whipper snipper cord, nets all destined for landfill.
Materials supplied but bring along bag of your own if you feel inclined.
Please bring scissors, pliers and secateurs if possible.
If you would like to attend but finances won’t allow, please contact Brenda on 0419 256 530.
