Foundation Student Led Conference
At Encounter Lutheran College, we believe student learning is something to be shared and celebrated. As such, we invite parents and carers to engage with students throughout each year and share in their learning journeys. Student led conferences are one way of formalising this process and are part of the reporting process at Encounter. It is a chance for parents and carers to gain a clear insight into the kind of work students are doing and provides an opportunity for discussion at a deeper level.
While the teacher will be present, it will be the students who will undertake the conference.
It is an expectation that all parents/carers will attend the Student Led Conference. Students will seek some feedback from their parents and answer questions about their learning. Parents are encouraged to interact positively with their child, celebrating what they have shared about their learning.
Please note: Only 1 "ticket" is required per family
