Accelerate! Piano is UWA’s premier training program for dedicated piano students in Years 10–12 who are ready to take their playing to the next level. Whether you're preparing for ATAR or AMEB exams, university auditions, or simply want to refine your performnace skills, this program offers expert guidance in a focused and supportive setting. Participants will work closely with UWA Piano staff, including renowned pianist and educator Adam Pinto, and special guest Cecilia Sun, expert in historical performance.

Topics include:

• Individualised feedback to refine your technique and interpretation
• Strategies for confident, expressive performance
• Collaborative piano skills for chamber and ensemble playing
• Style and interpretation across musical eras Exploring historical instruments and techniques
• Aural skills development

Just as importantly, Accelerate! Piano brings together like-minded young pianists to build a vibrant, inspiring community. You'll connect with peers who share your passion and grow together through shared experiences and musical exploration. Accelerate! Piano Take your performance skills to the next level!

Dates: Fridays 8 - 29 August | 4.30-6.30pm
Application deadline: 31 July 2025
Level: AMEB Grade 5+ (or equvelant)
Audition requirements: Recorded audition (1 piece of your choosing)
