Place Sense with Architect Nic Brunsdon (CANCELLED)

About
THE RISE OF VERTICAL LIVINGThe Earth is filling up fast, and there is simply not enough space. The housing crisis is forcing developers to build upwards rather than outwards. The idea of the “vertical city” is gaining traction as a solution to urban sprawl, overpopulation, and the need for natural preservation.
Architect Nic Brunsdon, Rod Hammersley from Australian Development Capital, and urban planner Deon White from Hatch RobertsDay explore the evolving relationship between verticality and high-rise cities and how they can redefine our relationship with nature, inspire architectural innovation, and transform societal interactions. Wine and grazing platters will be served in the lobby before the panel discussion in the theatre.
