Celebrate Dublin, storytelling, and the rhythm of the city
Bloomsday is a celebration of Irish writer James Joyce (1882 to 1941) observed annually on 16 June, the day his novel Ulysses takes place in 1904, the date of his first outing with his wife-to-be Nora Barnacle and named after it’s protagonist Leopold Bloom.
Canberra Irish Club invites you to our celebration featuring music and songs about Dublin, the city in which Ulysses is based.
