Possum Skin Pyrography with Iluka Sax-Williams

Community are invited to join artist Iluka Sax-Williams (Taungurung, Tibrean) for a session of pyrography on possum skin pelts. Learn from Iluka about his journey working with kangaroo pelts, the Possum Skin revitalisation and learn from him to burn into a skin to create your own artwork.All tools and materials will be supplied, including possum skins.
Light catering provided.
Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
People sensitive to smoke and/or fur should take their own precautions such as wearing a mask.
This session is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.
