REDI - Responding Effectively in Difficult Interactions.This training is externally facilitated by Lifeline and focus’ on responding effectively in difficult interactions. The session aims to offer tools for support to frontline staff who may face scenarios where an individual presents in crisis. This may include present as anger or aggression, situations involvement Domestic Family Violence or situations involving suicide. The training is based within the CALM Framework: Clarify the Situation, Adapt your response, Link to further support, Me time / self-care following a difficult interaction.
The intention of this workshop is to equip you with tools to feel confident in the event you are faced with a patron or person in crisis.
This training is strongly encouraged for all Centre Supervisors, however if you have any concerns or questions regarding the training or are unable to attend, please reach out to our training team.
