Here & Now, under the direction of Michael Beets, present an exceptional live film experience in partnership with Abbotsford Convent.A ‘live cinema’ film crew will co-create a new film with young people over 4 days in July. In a tour-de-force, the team will perform, shoot and edit the whole film in one take, while live streaming it to an indoor cinema. Click here for more details. This exceptional work is a one-off, a film that can never be reproduced and can only be experienced live.
Young people aged 16–19 can sign up to hands-on workshops to create the screenplay or work as crew assistants or performers. Click here to find out more. This project is perfect for local arts lovers, families, educators and young creatives.
