Peace Pole official Ceremony
About
Rotary Caroline Springs, a Peace guilding Club, invite you to attend the unveiling of a Peace Pole at the Caroline Springs Library. The Peace Pole program had its beginnings in 1955. You can now find Peace Poles in close to every country with over 300,000 placed around the world. They are one of the most recognised monuments dedicated to peace on earth. They have been planted in significant locations such as the Giza Pyramids, Machu Picchu and Adelaide Oval. The Peace Pole Program, a signature initiative of the non-profit organisation May Peace Prevail On Earth International, invites peace makers from around the globe to plant Peace Poles in their communities. These symbols of hope and unity serve as a reminder of our shared commitment to peace. Discover the legacy of the Peace Pole movement, a vision created by Japanese philosopher Masahisa Goi (1916- 1980) who dedicated his life to spreading the message, May Peace Prevail on Earth.
