The experience begins with an (optional) first-class heritage steam train journey from Castlemaine to Maldon. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Maldon’s gold mining past with its rich heritage stories, a buffet lunch, live music by a local band, and time to explore the town’s vibrant main street — all in Australia’s first notable town.
Tickets:
• OPTION 1: $110 – includes first-class train travel, guided tour, buffet lunch, and live music. $99 if booked before 31 July.
• OPTION 2: $60 – includes guided tour, buffet lunch, and live music (No train travel – please arrive in Maldon by 11:30 am). $54 if booked before 31 July.
We encourage participants to make the most of their visit by staying in the area for the weekend.
