The experience begins with an optional first-class heritage train journey from Castlemaine to Maldon. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided exploration of Maldon’s gold mining past or its rich heritage stories, a buffet lunch, live music by a local band, and time to explore the town’s vibrant main street — all in one of Victoria’s most iconic goldfields communities.
Tickets:
• $110 – Includes first-class train travel, guided tour, buffet lunch, and live music
→ $99 if booked before 30 June.
• $60 – Includes guided tour, buffet lunch, and live music (No train travel – please arrive in Maldon by 11:30 am) → $54 if booked before 30 June.
We also encourage participants to make the most of their visit by staying in the area for the weekend.
