AISNSW Wingara Student Leadership Event: dhurali warunggad.

About
Join us for a day of Cultural engagement, leadership development and post-school pathway planning for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students in Years 9 – 12. Each year this event provides a range of opportunities for students to engage in leadership and cultural workshops where students connect and celebrate Culture as an important aspect of wellbeing, developing a sense of belonging, educational success, and resilience. Students are supported by their supervising teacher/s who will walk alongside students throughout the day, taking the learning from the day back to school to continue conversations and learnings. Please note – new for 2025: A nominal registration fee of $50 per student will be charged to help cover catering costs, with the majority of event expenses generously supported by Western Sydney University and the Australian Independent Schools Foundation (AISF).Regional travel subsidies will be available for schools travelling more than 200kms to the event.
