Like so many Australians, I watched in horror at the recent and devastating floods on the NSW mid-north coast.I felt compelled to do something - no matter how small, or insignificant - doing something was better than nothing.
I'm travelling though the Southern Tablelands of NSW this weekend, with an open Saturday night, and an idea..
So, with no plan or idea (yet), I threw it out to social media to see if anyone wanted to get together and raise some money.
I was blown away by the response, particularly from the town of Yass - where an awesome venue AND some rotary members put up there hands to get involved. So, here we are.. a fundraiser gig, in Yass, on three days notice!!
Ticket prices are tiered, so people can 'pay what you can'. I'm leaving this up to your generosity.
Those who cant attend, but still want to support our efforts, can buy a 'non attendee' ticket.
Proceeds to Rotary, who already have people on-ground in flood affected communities, helping recovery efforts.
