Hugh Fuchsen // Hannah Price @ Grinners

About
Hugh F crafts tender, funny, and unflinchingly honest folk songs with the help of his velvet voice box and a finely tuned radar for life’s quiet absurdities. Singing started as a way to relax the tension in his throat — a physical release that, almost accidentally, became a way to document the odd joys and heartbreaks of growing up a farm boy on Dudhuroa Country.Based in Naarm but spiritually stationed somewhere between a North East Victorian paddock and the Wodonga Plaza food court, Hugh has quietly built a loyal following across Australia and beyond. He’s toured nationally with Darren Hanlon, supported Chastity Belt in the U.S., and somehow gone viral singing about rats and horses. (This is not a metaphor.)
Hannah Price is a Hobart singer/songwriter blending folk, pop, and jazz with looping and emotion-driven storytelling. After beginning out gigging across Japan, she's now active in Tassie venues, crafting originals and evolving from acoustic roots to electronic sounds.
