Come and Try - Waterwatch
About
Join us for a hands-on Waterwatch training night! Are you passionate about protecting our local waterways? Want to learn how to monitor water quality and discover the tiny creatures living in our creeks and rivers?
Leigh Catchment Group and the CCMA invite you to a special training event with:
Georgie (CCMA Citizen Science Officer)
Kate (Urban Ripple Project Officer & LCG member)
Georgie will be giving a practical demonstration on how to use Waterwatch kits to test water parameters and survey aquatic macroinvertebrates. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how citizen science tools can help local groups monitor water quality and support their restoration efforts.
Whether you're a member of an environmental group, a student or just keen to get involved, everyone is welcome!
If you want to learn more, join us for a field session on Thursday the 26th to put your knowledge into practice! Find the session link in your booking email.
