The Midwinter Primary Lantern festival symbolises bringing light into darker times, both literally and metaphorically, its an evening of singing, storytelling, and shared meals. It’s a moment of reflection, warmth, and togetherness, reinforcing the Steiner philosophy of harmonising with nature’s rhythms.PARKING
There will be no on-site parking available, unless pre-arranged. Please park off-site in North Arm Road or Tyneside Avenue. Parking is not permitted on Glenroy /Greenfield Avenue.
EVENT DETAILS
Please arrive promptly at 5.00 PM , drop your Class 1-4 Student at the Class 5 Classroom. Please leave your child and make your own way to the oval. Children will be brought to the oval by their Class teacher. Lantern lighting will begin at 5:15 PM.
Bring a thermos of tea or soup to enjoy during the event. Dress warmly, as the event will be held outdoors. Please supervise your children/siblings, as the teachers will not be on duty outside the festival area. No Photography/video
