Pompeii: Origins of a European Life
Emily Sanzaro is a Tasmanian musician and acclaimed harpist. In this intimate one-off event, Emily will be sharing a solo performance of music, specially curated to immerse in the life, times and memories of Pompeii. The concert will be held within Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's exhibition Inside Pompeii: Origins of a European Way of Life. Join Emily for a unique journey using harp, voice and electronics with musical selections from a broad range of genres as she invites audiences to imagine and dream of the life and loss of ancient Pompeii.
Emily is an innovative contemporary harpist, vocalist, violinist & electronic loop artist based in Launceston, Tasmania.
Inside Pompeii: Origins of a European Way of Life – is an exhibition showcasing the evocative photography of Luigi Spina, capturing the ancient city of Pompeii. Presented at TMAG by The European Union.
