Local Authors Fair - Free Entry for Visitors!

The Local Authors Fair will showcase local emerging writers from across our region, allowing readers to find their new favourite authors - and authors to find new fans - in a supportive and fun atmosphere.
This event is an exciting new part of our annual Local Word Writers Festival, which brings together local writers and creatives from across the greater Geelong and south-west Victorian region.
Each author will be provided with a chair, a table to display signage and their books, and an opportunity to address the crowd in a 5 min timeslot to provide a reading of their work, or share an aspect of their craft.
Visitors will come and go throughout the morning with opportunities for book sales throughout the event.
Please note, participating authors must provide their own book stock, and eftpos and/or cash sales facilities.
Author registrations are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fee is $20 (non refundable). Approx. 15 places are available.
