Adrian Galante is a multifaceted, exciting young jazz clarinetist and pianist with a remarkable command of both instruments far beyond his youth. Possessing a lyrical “vocal-like” quality on the clarinet, his expressive playing exhibits a melancholic romanticism combined with a joyous feeling for swing, bebop, and the blues. Ken Westgate, President of Jazz Fremantle, describes Adrian as among the very finest jazz musicians he has ever heard.

Adrian grew up in WA and moved to New York in 2023.  His achievements in the USA include the recording of his first album in Hollywood,  with some of the finest musicians in the country.    His debut performance at New York’s famous Birdland Jazz Club was greeted with critical acclaim by some of the most respected critics around.   Reviewer Andrew Portez described him as 'an extraordinary musician who appears to be as gifted as a clarinetist as he he is a pianist ... his exquisite lyrical playing created an emotionally satisfying close to one of the best sets this reviewer has heard in years.'  Adrian returned to Birdland on June 1st for his album release celebration.

Fortunately Adrian comes back to Perth regularly to visit family and friends and always plays at the Fremantle Park Club.  He will be playing with three outstanding musicians who will be announced closer to the concert. 

Adrian is so popular with our members and guests that his most recent concert on March 14th sold out a month in advance.  We suggest you book soon to avoid disappointment and early bird tickets will be on sale until June 23rd.  Unfortunately,  the club won't be able to offer meals before this concert as our caterers are going to be on holiday.  Doors and the bar will open from 6.30 if you'd like to arrive early for a drink before the concert.
