Set in beautiful Trentham, high atop the stunning landscape of the Great Dividing Range, Trentham Words In Winter, established in 2004, celebrates the power and the delight of language through WORDS – written, spoken or sung, and through poetry, storytelling, composing, and competing.

Trentham Words in Winter 2025's theme is CONNECTION and will feature events including poetry reading, live music, play readings, motivational speakers, true life storytelling, meet the author events and more.

The array of fascinating and beautiful venues include the famous Cosmopolitan Hotel, Sisko Chocolate, St Georges Church, Trentham Hotel, The Mechanics and more.
