About
Join us for a morning walk in Korung NP, which surrounds Kanyana's site in Lesmurdie. The walks are a fantastic opportunity to discover the variety of flora and fauna (especially bush birds), who call the Perth Hills home.Each walk is led by an experienced guide who will help you spot wildlife, share stories of the park and our wildlife hospital and also show you some incredible biofacts (eg. feathers or skulls) along the way.
Each walk is between 4 and 6 kilometers, so reasonable walking ability is required and some ground is uneven/gravelled. Different species/behaviours are more likely to be spotted in different seasons, and walks are run through most of the year except late Birak and Bunuru, when heat and fire risk are high. Please bring a water bottle and enclosed shoes. Bathrooms and bottle filler is available onsite at Kanyana for use before and after the walk.
