In this Bookbinding workshop you will create 3 unique notebooks, envelopes and gift tags to take home. Plus you will have time to decorate your notebooks.You will learn 3 different Japanese Stab Binding techniques.
- Noble Binding
- Hemp Leaf Binding
- Tortoise Shell Binding
These binds were used over 300 years ago in Japan to bind most books during the Edo Period.
Each notebook will have:
- up to 16 pages of high quality 110gsm blank papers
This is a great introduction class to Bookbinding.
There are so many wonderful ideas you can make once you know these Bookbinding techniques from recycling old notebooks to preserving kids artwork.
