The Canterbury Tales

About
A youth version. A TAG/Adult production.A satire by Geoffrey Chaucer.
Directed by Gail Lusted.
This is a story made of stories: A group of travellers head off on a pilgrimage from London to Canterbury. Each pilgrim takes a turn as a storyteller, the pilgrims react to each other, telling stories that insult the person who spoke before them or balancing a tale of moral instruction with a naughty joke.
Chaucer's classic collection of tales comes to life in this modern, tamer adaptation, making it more accessible for teenagers and 8 pilgrims are featured out of the 29. The tales feature stories of love, greed, jealousy, patience and death.
Parental Guidance is recommended as there are bawdy themes.
