The Data Wrangler has rapidly become an essential on-set role in modern filmmaking. It demands precision, accountability, and strong technical skills — and it’s one of the best entry points into Camera or DIT roles. This 2-day hands-on workshop is designed to give you the skills and mindset to take on the role with confidence and kickstart your on-set journey.Build your own data kit, run live offloads, and simulate real-world handovers with guidance from industry pros. You’ll explore RAID systems, train on tools like YoYotta and Silverstack, and work with 4 complete data kits across different production tiers. Handle real media cards, get a walkthrough of Rebel Fleet’s data van, and work with camera equipment supplied by Panavision.
Presented in partnership with The Rebel Fleet, with credits including Furiosa, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Better Man, and Mortal Kombat II.
