Eligibility: Players can enter a division if they are under the specified age as of 1^st January 2025. All entrants must be members of the Chess Association of WA Inc. 

Prizes: Perpetual Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each age group, while individual trophies will be presented to participants from all age groups and genders, based on the number of entries. To be eligible for the state title, it is required to have permanent residency. If an individual does not hold permanent residency, they will not be eligible to claim the state title. Certificates can be provided upon request.

Prizes will be presented after the Blitz has finished on Thursday, 10^th July at 4:30pm. Kindly take note that in order to be eligible for any individual prize, players must achieve a score of 50% or greater (i.e., 4.5/9). If two or more players or teams end up with the same score, tiebreak rules will be utilized to determine the winner.

Entries close on Friday, 4th July at 11:59pm. If you cannot make the first round you may request for a half-point bye for round 1 only: please notify by email: chessassociationwa@gmail.com before 6pm Saturday, 5th July.
